Chemical Name: Hexamethylene tetramine

 

Off-white to grey powder, mainly been used in producing light color, transparent or thick rubber goods. It shows very slow vulcanization rate when used alone; however, it offers high degree of cross-linking. 

 

VULBOND H-80GE/F350A also functions as a hardener for phenolic resin. It acts as methylene donor. It normally been used together with resorcinol monomer or donor resin and silica. This combination signigicantly enhances the bonding strength between rubber and various fabric or metal, better dispersion exhibits stronger cohesion. It frequently combines with other accelerators in using, easily dispersed, non-staining and non-discoloring.
